On January 10^th, the "2025 Annual Meeting of Qingdao Association for Metal Material " with the theme of "Circulating to the World and Integrating with the Globe" was held in Qingdao, Shandong. Zhang Yanju, Deputy Secretary-General of CAMT attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Zhang Yanju congratulated the successful convening of this conference and reviewed the development of the industry in 2024. She said that 2024 is a year of accelerated evolution of major changes unseen in a century, and a year of intertwined international opportunities and challenges. This year, the pressure on the development of the steel industry has doubled, not only on facing the complex and changeable economic situation, but also on dealing with the fierce market competition and huge survival test brought about by the downward cycle of demand reduction.
